Returns

  • Duration: We have a 30-day return policy. This means you have 30 days from the date you received your item to request a return.
  • Eligibility: For a return to be accepted, the item must be in the same condition you received it: unworn or unused, with tags attached, and in its original packaging. A receipt or proof of purchase is also required.
  • Initiating a Return: To begin the return process, please contact us at info@thehouseofscentsation.co.za. Returns should be sent to: 5 Adderley Street, Cape Station, Shop G11, Cape Town, South Africa, 8001. If your return is accepted, we will provide you with a return shipping label and detailed instructions on how and where to send your package. Please note that items sent back without prior return request will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues

Upon receiving your order, inspect it immediately. If you find the item defective, damaged, or if the wrong item was sent, contact us promptly so we can address and rectify the situation.

Exceptions / Non-returnable Items

We cannot accept returns for:

  • Perishable goods such as food, flowers, or plants.
  • Customized products like special orders or personalized items.
  • Personal care items like beauty products.
  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases.

If you're unsure about the return eligibility of a particular item, please reach out to us.

Sale items and gift cards are also non-returnable.

Exchanges

For a swift exchange process, return the item you have. Once the return is approved, you can make a separate purchase for the desired item.

 

Refunds

After receiving and inspecting your returned item, we will inform you about the status of your refund. If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. It might take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. If over 15 business days have passed since your return was approved and you haven’t received a refund, please contact us at info@thehouseofscentsation.co.za.
